Martyrs Memorial L.O.L.No. 213 Oxford
The Lodge Banner
This is the second banner in the Lodge's history. It was purchased in July 1998 after the original banner was irretrievably damaged while on parade at Southsea in 1998. The new banner was purchased from Strachan Bannermakers in Scotland at a cost of some £680 and paid for from Lodge funds. It was at it's first parade at Rossnowlagh in Southern Ireland on July 10th 1999. The first of many such parades it is hoped.
The front of the banner depicts the Martyr's Memorial which is situated in the centre of Oxford
The rear of the banner depicts King William astride a white horse at the battle of the Boyne
